Walking home from Work

On the MOST blistering day of this English Summer that I've experienced  far I insisted on walking home. Onlya mere 26 degrees but broiling in comparison to woolies and wellies. I've never seen so many burnt Brits! After the heat of the sun wore off I really enjoyed the walk... and the view!  Plus I haven't gotten over the novelty of public footpaths and walking amongst sheep and baa lambs!

Derbyshire Days

The Churchyard.
This Norman century Church just sits out of sight to the left of my bedroom window. The graveyard ( sorry churchyard) is a leap over the back wall away and to me a source of constant interest. The higgedly piggedly grave stones document the history of an entire village for the better part of six or more centuries. Enjoy it as much as I do!

Derbyshire Days

Garden Exploration... words that in country England at the height of Midsummer mean foxgloves, dane's violet honeysuckle,  mock orange and poppies a plenty in rambling profusion. Very very ECL.
